讀川端康成的作品，原本對他的短篇沒有寄予厚望，想不到讀來滋味深長。可見年紀真的有差別。從前要讀出他的淡，就不容易，現在卻很能欣賞他的淡，因其淡，所以特別的讓人回味無窮。他著墨極輕，愈是用情深，愈是寫得淡，時而極輕的一點，使得讀者頓時恍然大悟，真是了不起。
