詩人帕麗夏以本詩集奪得第一屆周夢蝶詩獎，除收錄奪得第十一屆葉紅詩獎的作品〈爸爸要種世界上最好的橄欖〉〈奧菲莉亞〉，亦增訂數篇新作。出生於廣東的帕麗夏，來到台灣研讀中文，寫作論文期間，同時創作了這部作品。她以文字穿行了時間、空間，以凝練的詞句演奏她獨特的音色，詩人唐捐將她描述為彷彿有著鄉村歌手的甜美嗓音，曲中閃現南方的陽光、市鎮、多曲折的港灣。她的詩句透露了她強大的抒情天賦，更以詩重構古今，以隱喻性的語言描述了愛戀、成長、激情與變形。
帕麗夏，原名吳丹鴻，1990年10月生，廣東揭陽人。台灣清華大學中文系碩士，中國人民大學文學院博士在讀。寫與讀都很懶，但除此以外別無所長。曾獲葉紅女性詩獎首獎，周夢蝶詩獎創作獎。
