竊以六位精微，資象翼而筌理；二篇玄妙，藉蒙列以探機。
今此序中分爲七段：
第一竊以六位（至）湛幽章而海濬者，明如來所證之理甚深難量。
第二匪屬具體（至）歸眞上遷者，明世親菩薩造論三十頌釋佛經唯心之義。
第三義繁文約（至）競響而已者，明護法等十菩薩造論釋本頌義。
第四在昔周皇（至）其詳可略者，明先代三藏等譯爲非也。
第五惟我親教（至）云爾而已者，解玄奘三藏所翻爲是也。
第六斯本彙聚（至）依士釋也者，總明成唯識論名也。
第七基學慙融愷（至）詳幽致爾者，叙基師自謙述作也。

始中有二：
先擧外書儒道二教微妙不測。
後況乎下明内典佛教幽深難解。

始中又二：
先擧儒書。周易六爻爲六位。
後擧道教。老子五千文爲二篇也。
