嗨！我們又見面了，
有人常問我：「怎麼成為漫畫家的？」
這說來就話長了。我第一次投稿漫畫新人獎是在1975年，
（哇！好久以前了......）雖然很喜歡漫畫，卻從來沒想過
要當漫畫家，純粹是衝著獎金才參加的，（哈...真是不好意思！）
當時漫畫工具還不會使用，也不會貼網點，幾乎是所有的技巧都莫宰羊，
結果卻僥倖得了佳作。

後來經編輯的指導，總算知道一些漫畫的基本常識。
於是，我很不要臉的開始報名每一年的新人獎，
名次也一年比一年好，就這樣和漫畫牽扯不清了。
以後陸陸續續畫了一些短篇漫畫，但是都沒有集結成冊，
然後就當兵去了，兩年退伍之後，到卡通公司工作，
從動畫員、構圖師一直幹到原畫師，一做就是5年，
原本以為不會再和漫畫扯上關係了，沒想到剛好
出版社要發行新的雜誌，正在缺稿，於是編輯
想到我”應該很閒”，請我跨刀幫忙一下，
結果幫一下的下場是卡通的工作辭了，
每天不分日夜的趕稿，莫名其妙的
成為正職的漫畫家。
