作者从一个女人的视角，用第二人称，集中写一个女人的故事，写她的爱恨情仇。写亲情和爱情的纠葛以及冲突，写人性，写人性的容忍度和人性弱点的冲破，写普世的情绪。通过“这一个，”作者写出了“一些”中青年澳门新移民的生存状态，他们的痛苦与挣扎，他们的奋斗和发展。通观整部作品，可以看出，作者试图揭开人性中的某些症结，试图从人性的角度来看所谓文化的差异，并试图以这个不长的篇幅沟通澳门与内地文化，表现人性以及道德的普世性和公义性。
蒋九贞，本名蒋广会，实力派作家、评论家、文史学者。曾在北京鲁迅文学院进修，系中国文艺评论家协会会员，中国当代文学研究会会员，中国小说学会会员，中华诗词学会会员，中国汉画学会会员，中国先秦史学会周公思想文化研究会常务理事，江苏省作家协会会员。
