《讀書指南》是梁啟超先生《國學入門書要目及其讀法》和《要籍解題及其讀法》之合集。前者介紹中國基本典籍，說明各書特點、讀法，文字淺顯簡明。後者為他在清華學校教授“群書概要”的講稿，印行前就已“各處紛紛函索傳鈔”，深受青年學生歡迎；對《論語》、《史記》、《左傳》、《詩經》等經典進行了系統介紹，對諸書作者、成書年代及過程、內容真偽及篇次、價值及讀法、校釋書優劣等問題一一細究，予人以翔實有用的指導。梁啟超先生談了許多切身的讀書經驗，直到今天仍然對我們有著重要的啟發意義。《讀書指南》附錄收入《治國學的兩條大路》等四篇文字，希望有益於讀者。
粱啟超，（1873—1929），我國近代著名的政治家、思想家、史學家、文學家。梁啟超一生憂國憂民、勤奮著書、匡國濟世，同時還十分注重對下一代的教育。他將自己的學識和感悟潤澤在兒女身上，言傳身教，悉心培養，使九個兒女各有自己的成就。
