2016年開始,魏思孝嘗試了一種新的寫作形式，即，為自己身邊的農村婦女和農村男性“做傳”。

魏思孝，1986年生於山東淄博，著有《小鎮憂鬱青年的十八種死法》《餘事勿取》等多部作品。前期作品多關注青年人的生活狀態，最近幾年在寫鄉村的人和事。曾獲第九屆報喜鳥文學領域新銳藝術人物、山東文學新人獎、第四屆泰山文學獎。
