埃•德•阿米琪斯，義大利因佩裏亞人，知名兒童文學作家。阿米琪斯少年時於都靈就學，十五歲加入摩德納軍事學院，開始了他的軍旅生涯。阿米琪斯的代表作《愛的教育》，是一部日記體小說，情感豐富且文筆優美，發表於1886年，自此以後一直經久不衰，目前已有一百多種文字的譯本，是世界公認的傳世傑作。
