《梨子提琴》故事写的是一只小松鼠捡到了一只大梨子，切下一半，把它做成了提琴。于是，森林里想起了美妙的音乐。狐狸不捉小鸡了，狮子不逮小兔了，他们都来听美妙的音乐。突然，从小提琴上掉下一粒种子，种子听着小松鼠的音乐，很快长成一棵大树，树上又结出很多大梨，大家把大梨做成提琴，森林里到处飘满了美妙的音符。
冰波，國家一級作家。20世紀70年代開始文學創作，從嬰幼兒至中學生均有適齡作品，是中國抒情童話的代表作家，迄今已出版各種童話作品240餘本，發表單篇童話2000餘篇，創作動畫片劇本230餘集。有多篇作品被選入小學語文和幼兒教材，多本圖書被國家新聞出版署、教育部、中國圖書館協會列入向青少年推薦的優秀圖書。作品曾獲全國優秀兒童文學獎、全國“五個一工程”獎、國家圖書獎、宋慶齡兒童文學獎、冰心兒童圖書獎、新作獎等計五十餘項。根據他的原著改編的動畫片《白色的蛋》曾獲“最佳美術片金雞獎”及優秀美術片“童牛獎”。
