巴西史──森巴王國
巴西地處南美西北部，是拉丁美洲土地面積最大、人口最多的國家，也是唯一的葡語系國家，十六世紀葡萄牙航海家到達巴西，開啟了往後三百年巴西的殖民歷史。隨著葡萄牙國力的逐漸衰弱，十九世紀巴西終於脫離葡萄牙獨立，但1960年代軍事政變迭出，再次扼殺了巴西朝向建立民主、富強國家的目標，直至1985年才又回歸民主。2002年的總統當選人魯拉，更誓言帶領巴西往世界大國邁進。

輔仁大學西班牙語文學系、所畢業，1996年獲西班牙馬德里大學歷史學博士。曾任中央通訊社記者、靜宜大學西班牙語文學系系所主任。現任靜宜大學西班牙語文學系副教授、臺中技術學院兼任副教授。專長領域為拉丁美洲歷史與文化、拉丁美洲區域整合。著有《墨西哥史──仙人掌王國》、《祕魯史──太陽的子民》、《阿根廷史──探戈的故鄉》等書。
