《素问》是《黄帝内经》的一部分，又称《黄帝内经素问》，是一部中医著作，共24卷，11万字，相传为黄帝所作。成书时间，考证者说法不一，一般认为在先秦战国，亦有认为在西汉。主要内容成篇于战国，而秦、汉、唐、宋，代有补订。现通行的《素问》，是经过唐代王冰编次整理，又经宋代高保衡、林亿等校正而流传至今的。（本书与集团所属出版单位业务范围相一致）
王冰是唐代中期著名医学家和经学家，自号启玄子。以下是其详细介绍：
生平经历：约生于唐景云、贞元年间（710 年 - 804 年）。唐宝应中（762-763 年）为太仆令，故又称 “王太仆”。他早年笃好养生，酷嗜医学，精勤博访，曾师事于郭子斋堂，还从先师张公处受得《素问》秘本。
