赵树理是中国著名现代小说家、人民艺术家。他生长在山西省晋城市的千年古县——沁水县，从小浸泡在浓郁的乡土文化中接受民间曲艺的熏陶。赵树理将当地起源于明末清初的“沁水鼓儿词”融入抗战文艺活动中，创作出卓越的大众曲艺鼓词，赢得党和人民的爱戴和关注。

成长经历：出生于农民家庭，自幼喜欢民间文艺。1937 年加入中国共产党，投身革命。新中国成立后，先后在《工人日报》《说说唱唱》《曲艺》《人民文学》等刊物工作。
