《讓臺記》是記述1895年乙未戰爭期間，臺灣民主國抵抗日本接收臺灣的歷史專著，全書始於中日簽署《馬關條約》，終於日軍攻佔臺南城，臺灣民主國滅亡，日本以吉野艦護送北白川宮能久親王棺柩返回日本。
本書作者吳德功，彰化人，彰化貢生，光緒十七年（1891）受聘《彰化縣志》，著有《戴案紀略》、《施案紀略》等史書，是清末臺灣知名文人之一。由於吳德功親身參與乙未戰爭彰化及臺中的防務，因此這本書的內容來自作者第一手的親身經歷與聽聞，為乙未戰爭留下珍貴的歷史記錄。
