2023 HSINCHU SCIENCE PARK ANNUAL REPORT

The HSP is duty-bound to “erect new peaks in the HSP’s 43rd year,” that is, to foster more companies equivalent to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (TSMC) now fondly known as a “sacred mountain that protects the nation,” and thus consolidate Taiwan’s pivotal position in the global supply chain. Concurrently, HSP companies are joining the cause to watch over the environment and reduce carbon emissions and environmental pollution. To date, eight of them have endorsed the RE100 initiative and committed themselves to 100% renewable energy by 2050. In the days ahead, the HSP expects to encounter more rapid environmental and industrial changes and more challenging international situations. To counter, the HSPB pledges to grow a diversified, smart technology industry while collaborating with tenant companies to move towards a net-zero future and the common goal of sustainability and prosperity shared by all.
