過去一年，植物和園藝市場在疫情影響下蓬勃發展，居家生活型態的改變，使得植物成為療癒人心的存在。許多人認真探究植物，藉此更了解居住地的多樣環境和豐富生態、建立日常的美感基礎，在日復一日的照料中感受生命和時間。

本期封面插畫是《植物情人》黃湘玲的作品，53歲開始以水彩畫植物，59歲出版第一本植物繪本，她在書裡寫道：「當我喜歡你，無需言語，你會知道。植物花草也是。」另一位邀稿作者Ming說：「植物一直是我的人生伴侶。」植物安靜存在的力量，或許遠大過我們所想像。在充滿植物的空間喝咖啡、逛假日花市、參觀植物園的展覽和導覽、在臉書社團分享家中的植栽姿態⋯⋯其實我們從來就離植物不遠！歡迎進入全民植物學的時代，我們應該更認識自然，一生作伴。
