Q:「醜比頭」在海外也很受歡迎，請問您自己認為「醜比頭」的魅力是？
名畑先生：醜比頭有著「也許那裡也有」這種好像隨時就在身邊的生物一樣的現實面，但也有虛構的一面，就像聖誕老人一樣啊~那種「到底存不存在？」的雀躍感，還有透過不同世代產生的不同樂趣，我覺得很好呢！對於不可思議的事物抱持興趣，是全世界都共通的吧……
