《隨緣》這本詩畫集分兩部分：二十五首路雅的四行詩配以水禾田畫作，以及二十一首路雅的五行詩配以姜丕中篆印。

詩集具有兩大特色：小詩之形式，與其他藝術品並列之「對話狀況」。詩集裡與畫相配的二十五首詩，有三個特色：其一，詩題均是兩字；其二，都是６－４－４－６的二十字四行結構。這是詩人自創而自我遵從的「格式」；其三，每首詩的尾行均為下一首詩的首行，令二十五首詩出現連環互扣的情況。

詩魂即詩之內蘊。內蘊可以是真相，可以是哲思，可以是神韻，也可以是意境。那是存在於文字背後的，能讓文字有呼吸。在這二十五首詩裡，其外部環境即「畫圖」。這是二十五首「題畫詩」。
