張居正，明代傑出政治家、改革家。字叔大，號太嶽，湖廣江陵人。嘉靖二十六年（西元1547年）中進士，後任吏部左侍郎兼東閣大學士。在萬曆皇帝登基後成為首輔，輔佐其進行“萬曆新政”。輔政之時，曾任萬曆皇帝的老師，為其講解《論語》《孟子》《資質通鑒》等書。其著作有《張太嶽集》《書經直解》等。
