《花间集》是中国五代十国时期编纂的一部词集，也是今存*完整的早期词家作品选集，由后蜀人赵崇祚编选。集中收录晚唐至五代18位词人的作品，共500首，分10卷。18位词人分别是温庭筠、皇甫松、和凝、韦庄、薛昭蕴、牛峤、张泌、毛文锡、顾敻、牛希济、欧阳炯、孙光宪、魏承班、鹿虔扆、阎选、尹鹗、毛熙震、李珣。《花间集》得名于集中作品内容多写上层贵妇美人日常生活和装饰容貌，女人素以花比，写女人之媚的词集故称“花间”。
赵崇祚，字弘基，甘肃天水人，后蜀开国功臣、中书令赵廷隐之长子。当时后蜀音乐、文学发展繁盛，赵崇祚位居显要，兼具较高的文化素养，对文学与艺术有较高的鉴赏能力，在后蜀文人中有较大影响。他“广会众宾，时延佳论。因集近来诗客曲子词五百首”，编成《花间集》。
