自本期起，《大學雜誌》發行人換由張育宏（張俊宏胞兄）擔任，出版者改為大學雜誌社，總經銷仍為環宇書局。

民國58年5月4日，「五四」已過了半世紀，陳少廷在大學論壇發表〈紀念五四運動的第五十週年〉。他肯定五四是中國學生愛國運動史上，最光輝的一頁，它的精神，更是中國現代化運動的衝撞力，但很不幸地，它又是一個爭論最多的歷史事件。陳少廷認為，只有認清它的真相，了解它的真義，才能策勵這一代知識份子，完成五四未竟的事業。他說，要使中國現代化，必須從思想的現代化做起，以文化思想的革新，帶動社會政治的全面革新，這是五四運動永久的歷史意義。
