2020是變動的一年，改變仍是進行式，過往檢視生活的標準變了，何謂「質感生活」也得重新定義。既然未來、外在事物無法預測，不如回到自身，在可掌握的範疇之內，奪回人應有的面對生活的本領。

本期專題以「何謂未來生活的本事」為命題主軸，邀請多位創意工作者、影評人、人類學家、音樂人、設計師、藝術家，就各自的觀察提出見解：面對瞬息萬變的世界，最要緊的一件事、一種技能或一個念頭是什麼？因為無論如何，我們都得重新為下一步做出計畫，繼續未完的人生。借用本期人類學家宋世祥所言：「用冒險開創確定性，是人類面對未來的必要生活技術。」不保證你能找到答案，但必定會是有意思的提問、思考或冒險的開始。
