中央「二十大」會議後首個港股交易日（10月24日）即迎來「股災」，恒指全日跌1,030點，收報15,180點，失守回歸前（1997年6月27日）收市價15,196點，當晚夜期更驚見14,797點，不少香港人都彷彿走進時光隧道，不敢出聲問卻心裡吶悶：「回歸25年來究竟發生甚麼事？」

及至周二（10月25日）傳出上述股災，已被中央定性為外資拋售的金融戰爭行為，故是日一度有無形之手入場救市，恒指由14,947點抽上15,400點開外，惟最終仍倒跌15點收市。假如屬實，即護盤戰敗北，外國勢力揚長而去，香港金融市場嚴如外資提款機。

究竟港股會跌到那裡？暫時見過最淡的看法不是14,000點，亦不是12,000點，而是2008年10月27日的10,676點。不過亦有看法指11月港股會來個大彈，因為政府已鐵定搞一個大型戶外音樂盛會，有姜濤坐陣，或者可以學似03年沙氏的巨星維港會一樣，從此唱起港股！
