儘管媽媽在人前十分閃亮，但她在幕後的角色或許更實在。在與爹爹共同的事業奮鬥中，很多有她參與並作出重大貢獻的工作，有時她只是「編外」人員，常常沒有頭銜也沒名分，卻又是父親團隊中不可缺少的，甚至是靈魂人物。媽媽是不惜一切，全身心地投入，卻心甘情願做幕後英雄。她對父親梁思成一生堅守建築事業給予了最堅定的支持。
